Job summary

MIRATECH, a global leader in emission and silencing solutions, is seeking a 2nd shift General Laborer/Water Spider to support welders, production, and shipping teams on site. Schedule is 2:00PM to 10:30PM, Monday through Friday.

The role involves moving materials, staging according to production schedules, monitoring inventory, and assisting with fabrication tasks as needed. Emphasis on safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• General warehouse experience or knowledge relating to manufacturing preferred.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift.
• Knowledge of safe workplace practices.

Responsibilities

• Move materials, components, and supplies to welders and shipping.
• Prepping of material for production teams within the facility.
• Monitor inventory levels at workstations and notify supervisors of shortages.
• Stage materials according to production schedules.
• Keep aisles organized and free of hazards.
• Move materials using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified).
• Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.
• Clean and grind silencers.
• Assist welders with measuring and layout of materials.
• Cut and Prep insulation and screening for fabrication.
• Assist the welders with the installation of welding materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
