MIRATECH is hiring for a 2nd Shift General Laborer/Water Spider in Maryville, TN. The role supports welding and fabrication teams by moving materials, prepping parts, and staging items per production schedules.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and 1+ years of warehouse experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k with match, and PTO.

• Operate carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts if certified.
• Follow safety, quality, and SOPs.
• Assist welders with measuring and layout.

MIRATECH, a global leader in emission and silencing solutions, is currently seeking 2nd Shift General Laborer/Water Spider.

Cooperates with

Welders, Metal Fab Operators, Shippers, Safety, Customer Service, and Quality

Schedule

M - F, 2:30PM - 11:00PM

Reports to

2nd Shift Supervisor

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Move materials, components, and supplies to welders and shipping
• Prepping of material for production teams within the facility
• Monitor inventory levels at workstations and notify supervisors of shortages
• Stage materials according to production schedules
• Keep aisles organized and free of hazards
• Move materials using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified)
• Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures
• Clean and grind silencers.
• Assist welders with measuring and layout of materials
• Cut and Prep insulation and screening for fabrication
• Assist the welders with the installation of welding materials
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 1 + years of general warehouse experience and knowledge relating to manufacturing preferred
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift
• Knowledge of safe workplace practices
