Kinder Morgan is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist or Environmental Engineer to support midstream and pipeline operations in Alabama, focusing on water compliance, SPCC program management, spill response, and waste management/compliance, with independent field work across sites.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in environmental compliance, regulatory reporting, and related engineering activities, and possesses a valid driver’s license for travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental sciences, or equivalent science program.
• Minimum 3 years prior industrial environmental compliance experience or related consulting experience.
• Experience with SPCC, water permitting, waste management, and regulatory reporting is preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to travel ~30% overnight.

Responsabilités

• Support SPCC and waste management compliance across operations.
• Ensure SPCC Plans and related plans are prepared per 40 CFR Part 112.
• Provide spill response support and regulator notifications.
• Complete storm water and wastewater discharge permit compliance activities.
• Interpret environmental regulations and advise management on impacts.
