Job summary

Core & Main LP, based in St. Louis, seeks a Sales Engineer to drive Brecco Water Solutions growth across the eastern seaboard and midwest. You will combine technical product knowledge with strategic sales to promote branded water solutions to engineers, municipalities and contractors.

Responsibilities include technical seminars, demonstrations, field training, distributor engagement, and coordination with internal teams to ensure proper specification and installation. Travel up to 75% required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude with piping systems knowledge.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%).
• Residence within Eastern to mid-west regions.

Responsibilities

• Expand market share and achieve sales targets for Brecco product lines within the assigned territory.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with owners, engineering firms, municipalities, and other key stakeholders.
• Promote the full Brecco Product Catalog and drive product acceptance and specification across the region.
• Present Brecco solutions to engineering offices, design consultants, and contractors to influence specifications and project designs.
• Conduct technical seminars, product demonstrations, and training sessions to ensure proper understanding and usage of Brecco products.
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the design, selection, and installation phases.
• Maintain a structured weekly reporting process and develop territory sales plans.
• Coordinate with internal sales colleagues to ensure consistent messaging and strategic alignment.
• Build strong relationships with local Brecco distributors and support joint sales calls and training.
• Visit job sites to monitor installation practices and provide field training when needed.
