Qualifications

• Grade I Water Distribution License and ability to obtain Arkansas Class I Wastewater License within two years.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret technical procedures and write reports; present information.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, interview, hire and train staff; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance.
• Evaluate water distribution and sewer systems; decide repairs or rehabilitation and generate workload flow.
• Exercise independent judgment to solve on-site problems and operate required equipment.
• Provide advanced training for specialized and heavy equipment; oversee field investigations.
• Read drawings, use transit for grades, schedule work, and coordinate crews; on-call 24/7 for emergencies.
• Maintain safety procedures; use computer systems for timekeeping or work orders.
