Job summary

The City of Lewisville is seeking a ULM Crew Chief to supervise field crews performing water distribution and wastewater collection maintenance. You will coordinate tasks, ensure safety, document activities, and communicate with inspectors and city departments to maintain compliance.

You will train and evaluate staff, handle after-hours emergencies, and ensure proper tooling, traffic control, and documentation are maintained. A Class A CDL with N endorsement and TCEQ licenses are required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in water or wastewater utility maintenance.
• Public utility systems experience or a related field required.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct, perform, and coordinate daily water distribution and wastewater collection maintenance activities.
• Lead field crews and oversee safety, quality control, documentation, and communications with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with City standards and regulatory requirements; maintain equipment and perform repairs as needed.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to staff; participate in after-hours emergency response.
