Job summary

The City of Flagstaff is seeking a Water Services Plan Reviewer to help plan, review, and deliver essential water and wastewater infrastructure for our growing community. You will collaborate with developers, engineers, and City staff to ensure compliance with standards and policies, serving the public and shaping Flagstaff's future.

Responsibilities include reviewing designs, modeling, preparing WSIA reports, and coordinating utility projects with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years in water/wastewater design or plan reviews.
• Valid driver's license required; substitutions allowed on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Review plats, construction plans, and design reports for conformance to City standards and policies.
• Research and prepare utility staff background and recommendation reports.
• Proficiency with the City’s water and sewer hydraulic models.
• Prepare information and calculations for Water Sewer Impact Analysis (WSIA).
• Act as project manager on utility projects of routine to moderately complex scope.
