Job summary

The City of Peoria, AZ, seeks a Manager of Engineering in Water Services to lead engineering, operational technology and water resources staff. You will guide CIP delivery, IWUMP development, and coordination with private development to ensure reliability and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing infrastructure planning and master planning efforts, providing technical support across divisions, and working with IT to advance Water Services data management and SCADA

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience.
• Five years of supervisory experience.
• Registered Professional Civil Engineer in Arizona upon hire.
• Municipal or government setting experience preferred.
• ADEQ Operator Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and delivery of the Water Services CIP.
• Oversee development of the IWUMP and review master plans.
• Manage planning of infrastructure improvements and coordination with IWUMP and City standards.
• Serve as main liaison to private development and monitor development reviews.
• Provide technical, operational, and data management support across Water Services divisions.
