The City of Flagstaff is seeking an Engineering Specialist to administer and process Right-of-Way permits and deliver excellent customer service to utility companies and contractors. Every building permit, utility project, and construction effort within Flagstaff's Right-of-Way relies on careful coordination behind the scenes, and the Engineering Specialist is central to making that happen. In this role, you'll administer and process Right-of-Way permits while delivering excellent customer service to the utility companies and contractors who depend on a smooth, responsive permitting process. You'll also play a key role in maintaining the City's engineering records, coordinating construction plans, as-built drawings, and property dedications between Development Engineering and GIS. This position is a great fit for someone with a background in civil engineering or public works construction who is comfortable working with tools like GIS, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam, and who enjoys bringing precision and organization to a fast-moving development environment.
