Job summary

HDR invites a seasoned leader to guide the Water Business Group's professional services. You will oversee technical quality, delivery excellence, and practice standards across complex programs, shaping how projects meet client needs and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the WBG President, you will drive staff development, tool adoption, and continuous improvement while advancing HDR's employee-owned culture across multiple locations in the United States.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in professional services leadership.
• Experience leading and developing technical teams and practices.
• Involvement with AEC industry associations is preferred.
• Commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor development and training of staff in technical, professional, business, and service delivery competencies.
• Evaluate and adopt professional services technologies, digital delivery tools, and enabling systems.
• Coordinate staff training in company policies and processes including risk management.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and staffing of project and program teams.
