Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Business Group Director to refine and oversee the WBG Right of Way program. You will partner with leadership to align strategies, manage projects, and drive growth across geographies and market sectors.

You will engage clients, lead key pursuits, and ensure high-quality deliverables while mentoring staff and maintaining utilization targets. Travel and collaboration across HDR locations are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Demonstrated industry leadership and engagement with industry associations.
• Experience developing and managing diverse client relationships and pursuits.
• Knowledge of water-related infrastructure and ROW laws/regulations (FHWA, Uniform Relocation Act).
• Real estate license(s) or related designations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical focal point for the WBG to deliver Right of Way services.
• Support market sector Directors in developing strategic visions and growth plans.
• Recruit, mentor and align Right of Way staff with client needs.
