Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking a Water Monitoring Technician to support our Water Restoration Division in the Birmingham area. This field-based role inspects active projects, documents drying progress, and reports findings to the Project Manager.

You will verify equipment, document moisture readings, and maintain IICRC and RRSC standards, while communicating with customers and contributing to quality control throughout the restoration process.

Qualifications

• Service technician experience preferably in the restoration industry.
• Strong customer service focus and able to communicate effectively with customers.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment. Clean driving record and pass background check.
• IICRC Certification a PLUS!

Responsibilities

• Daily Monitoring & Drying Progress: Conduct scheduled monitoring visits on assigned active water restoration projects; Confirm equipment is operating properly and remains appropriate for current job conditions.
