Job summary

Roto-Rooter is seeking a Water Monitoring Technician to support our Water Restoration Division at the Chicago branch in Schaumburg, IL. This field-based role monitors active restoration projects, documents drying progress, and communicates findings to the Project Manager.

You will verify equipment, take moisture readings, document results, and ensure compliance with IICRC standards while maintaining excellent customer relations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Service technician experience preferably in the restoration industry.
• Strong customer service focus and able to communicate effectively with customers.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• IICRC Certification a PLUS!

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled monitoring visits on assigned active water restoration projects.
• Obtain and document moisture readings and report to Project Manager.
• Photo documentation and quality control of drying progress.
• Communicate progress to customers and maintain professional presence in the field.
