Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Water Monitoring Technician to support the Water Restoration Division at our Elkridge branch. This field-based role monitors active projects, documents progress, and reports findings to the Project Manager. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

The Technician ensures moisture readings are accurate, follows IICRC standards, and communicates with customers to provide timely updates on drying progress.

Qualifications

• Experience as a service technician in restoration is required.
• Strong customer service focus and able to communicate effectively with customers.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Clean driving record and pass background check.
• IICRC certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled monitoring visits on active water restoration projects.
• Confirm equipment is operating properly and remains appropriate for current job conditions.
• Obtain and document moisture readings and report to Project Manager; photo documentation.
• Ensure overall compliance with IICRC and RRSC procedures.
• Communicate with customers during monitoring visits with professional updates.
