Job summary

ServiceMaster by Complete seeks a Water Restoration Technician to monitor, inspect and complete drying and demolition tasks on restoration projects. You will prepare notes, photos, and documents for insurance reimbursement and explain processes to customers in person.

Role requires driving, ability to handle equipment, and strong communication. Training is provided; full-time hours with occasional travel and weekend work may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; restoration industry experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve work orders, check travel routes, load equipment and arrive on site.
• Explain active job steps and next actions to customers using printed materials.
• Complete assigned jobs following company processes with quality control.
• Perform water damage repair including extraction, packing, removal and minor demolition.
• Ensure equipment and vehicles are properly handled; report malfunctions.
• Inspect completed work, obtain customer signatures, and request payments when needed.
• Monitor drying plans, adjust based on meter readings for residential/commercial sites.
• Communicate issues and daily activities to supervisor and team.
• Prepare documentation and photos for insurance reimbursement.
