Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Structural Project Manager with a strong technical background to deliver exceptional service across dams, energy, fisheries, infrastructure and natural resources. You will lead multi‑discipline teams, mentor staff, and pursue business opportunities to grow client relationships.

PE license required; SE and NCEES registration preferred. 12+ years of water resources project experience and a proven Seller-Doer track record are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited university.
• Master's degree in structural engineering preferred.
• 15+ years in structural design, water resources.
• 10+ years as a Project Manager preferred.
• PE license required; SE license preferred; NCEES registration preferred.
• Travel up to 15% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of complete project documents from design to construction documents.
• Independently evaluate, select, and apply advanced structural design techniques to projects.
• Effectively manage multi-discipline teams, assign tasks and direct other engineers, technicians and staff.
• Collect and analyze existing data by performing field investigations and review of as-built plans to establish conditions.
• Identify project opportunities and assist with proposals for engineering projects.
• Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for projects.
• Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships.
• Evaluate and manage planning, design and construction support services for projects.
