Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks aSenior Civil Discipline Lead to guide large water resources projects with focus on dams, energy, fisheries, infrastructure, or natural resources. You will direct and supervise project teams of engineers and specialists with foresight and judgment.

Responsibilities include managing programs up to $5 million, coordinating with senior PMs, ensuring QA/QC and client satisfaction, and expanding business with strategic alliances. Travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 20 years of civil engineering/water resources consulting experience.
• Proven ability to lead multiple large project teams.
• Excellent client relationship management skills.
• Strong ability to negotiate and build strategic alliances.
• Experience directing large programs and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee extensive and complex water resources programs with significant staff and coordination.
• Align staffing, training, and operations with company objectives and strategy.
• Collaborate with senior PMs on complex business matters and client issues.
• Execute contractual commitments with clients, partners, and subconsultants.
• Ensure QA/QC and risk management standards across projects.
• Serve as Project Manager for large multidisciplinary projects.
• Expand and maintain client relationships and drive new business.
• Travel up to 25% monthly.
