Job summary

Spicer Group is seeking a Project Manager for the Water Resources / Surface Water service line in Michigan. You will lead surface water projects from proposal development through design, delivery, and construction support, managing budgets, schedules, and client communications.

The role requires coordinating teams, ensuring QA/QC, preparing plans and cost estimates, and guiding engineers and technicians throughout the project lifecycle within a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; PE preferred.
• Demonstrated project management experience in AEC industry.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead surface water projects from proposal through design and construction support.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and resource plans; coordinate teams and clients.
• Prepare plans, specs, and cost estimates; ensure QA/QC per standards.
• Present at meetings and public hearings; oversee report production.
