Job summary

Spicer Group is seeking a Design Engineer for the Water Resources / Surface Water Service Line. You will support design plans, specifications, permit applications, and calculations, applying hydrologic and hydraulic analysis to surface water projects.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree, familiarity with standard codes, and the ability to collaborate with engineers, technicians, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with basic engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to project delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing design plans, specifications, permit applications, calculations, cost estimates, and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparation of hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and related studies.
• Utilize software to analyze hydrologic/hydraulic models (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM).
• Draft plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and project teams to deliver quality solutions.
