Job summary

Henderson Group in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Water Resources Project Manager to lead full lifecycle water and wastewater projects with a hybrid on-site schedule. You will coordinate with NJDEP and clients to ensure successful planning, design, and construction.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree with 8+ years in a consulting setting and a NJ PE license (or equivalent). You will mentor engineers and support funding efforts with state programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 8+ years of water and wastewater experience in a consulting environment.
• New Jersey PE license, or equivalent with comity option.
• Hands-on design authorship: drawings, specs, basis of design reports, permits you prepared.
• Experience managing client relationships and fee proposals.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle project management on water and wastewater projects from planning through construction.
• Define scope, schedule, fees and budgets on each project.
• Direct the design team producing drawings and contract documents.
• Coordinate with NJDEP regulatory approvals (TWA, NJPDES, WQMP).
• Maintain client relationships after project closes.
• Coordinate funding with NJ Infrastructure Bank and SRF programs.
• Mentor project engineers and junior staff.
