Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC in Parsippany, New Jersey is seeking a Water Resources Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects from planning through construction in a hybrid work environment (three days on site).

You will own scope, schedule and budget, coordinate with NJDEP and funding programs, mentor engineers, and build lasting client relationships while delivering design documents and permit applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
• 8+ years water/wastewater experience in consulting with ownership of scope, schedule and budget.
• New Jersey PE license, or eligible for comity; EIT with PE scheduled considered.
• Hands-on design authorship: drawings, specifications, basis of design reports and permit applications.
• Working knowledge of NJDEP regulations and permitting process.
• Experience managing client relationships and writing fee proposals.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle project management on water and wastewater projects from planning through construction.
• Define scope, schedule and budget; develop proposals and negotiate scope.
• Lead design team producing drawings, specifications, basis of design reports and contract documents.
• Coordinate regulatory approvals with NJDEP (Treatment Works Approvals, NJPDES permits, WQM planning).
• Maintain client relationships with municipal and authority clients after project closure.
• Coordinate funding with NJ Infrastructure Bank, NJ Water Bank and SRF programs.
• Mentor project engineers and junior staff.
