MDS Staffing presents a Water Resources Project Manager opportunity in Parsippany, NJ. Hybrid work arrangement—three days on site—with a base salary range of $120,000 to $160,000 and a discretionary year-end bonus.

Manage full lifecycle water and wastewater projects, lead design teams, coordinate NJDEP permits, and sustain key municipal relationships. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in a consulting setting, a NJ PE (or comity-eligible), hands-on design experience, and strong budgeting and

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
• 8+ years of water and wastewater experience in a consulting environment with ownership of scope, schedule and budget.
• New Jersey PE license or ability to obtain NJ licensure by comity; strong EIT considered with PE exam scheduled.
• Hands-on design authorship: drawings, specifications, basis of design reports, permit applications prepared by you.
• Working knowledge of NJDEP regulations and the permitting process.
• Experience carrying client relationships and writing fee proposals.

Aufgaben

• Full lifecycle project management on water and wastewater projects from planning through construction.
• Scope, schedule, and budget on each project, including proposal development and scope negotiation.
• Direction of the design team producing drawings, specs, basis of design reports, and contract documents.
• Front-facing regulatory coordination with NJDEP, including permits and planning.
• Maintain client relationships with municipal and authority clients after project closes.
• Coordinate funding with NJ Infrastructure Bank, NJ Water Bank and SRF programs.
• Mentorship of project engineers and junior staff.
