Brown and Caldwell is seeking a project engineer with 2+ years of Environmental Engineering experience to join the Virginia Beach, VA office. The role covers water, wastewater, stormwater, and infrastructure projects from studies to construction under a licensed professional engineer.

Responsibilities include analyses, reports, design support, data interpretation, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency with GIS/CAD and fieldwork are beneficial; EIT/PE goals in VA are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of Environmental Engineering or related experience.
• SMS framework certification in progress (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analyses to support sustainable water and wastewater solutions.
• Prepare and review technical reports and documentation.
• Assist in planning and design of environmental protection systems.
• Analyze data and perform quality control for regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical input for permitting and regulatory approvals.
• Support field work and site visits as needed.
