Job summary

HDR is looking for a Project Engineer in Virginia Beach to join a collaborative team focused on water and wastewater projects. You will support, lead projects, prepare design calculations, and collaborate effectively with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead projects related to water, wastewater, and water resource management.
• Prepare design calculations, cost estimates, technical reports, and engineering plans and specifications.
• Accumulate and analyze data and present findings in professional reports.
• Work independently while collaborating with Project Managers and teams.
• Lead portions of design work ensuring deliverables meet standards.
• Assist with permitting applications and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with team members across multiple offices and disciplines.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
