val's services is seeking a civil/environmental engineer to perform hydrology and hydraulic analysis and modeling for water distribution, wastewater, stormwater, flood control, and green infrastructure projects. Responsible for hydrology and hydraulic analysis and modeling for water distribution, wastewater, stormwater, flood control, and green infrastructure projects. Collaborates with communities on environmental regulatory programs and stormwater master plans. Performs bridge scour analysis, bank stabilization design, and floodplain analysis for FEMA CLOMR/LOMR. Supports civil engineering design projects and performs related duties.
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 2-5 years of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling experience. Proficient in SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and GIS software. Skilled in reading construction drawings, developing estimates, and managing sensitive information. Excellent communication, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and a willingness to work in the field and office. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel required.
