Job summary

val's services is seeking a civil/environmental engineer to perform hydrology and hydraulic analysis and modeling for water distribution, wastewater, stormwater, flood control, and green infrastructure projects. The role involves collaboration with communities on regulatory programs and stormwater master plans, plus bridge scour and floodplain analyses for FEMA CLOMR/LOMR.

Ideal candidates have a civil/environmental engineering degree and 2–5 years of hydrologic/hydraulic modeling experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 2-5 years of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling experience.
• Proficient in SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and GIS software.
• Skilled in reading construction drawings, developing estimates, and managing sensitive information.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and a willingness to work in the field and office.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel required.
