Job summary

Stanley Consultants in Minneapolis, MN invites a Student Intern to explore water resources analysis, design, construction documents, reports, and cost estimates across water resources, infrastructure, environmental, structural, and energy projects. You will focus on hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, ArcGIS mapping, grading and drainage, and culvert/pipe network design, with some field work and travel.

ArcGIS and AutoCAD familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BSCE degree program at ABET-accredited university.
• Sophomore, junior or senior working towards a BS in Civil Engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States for an unlimited time without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Student will develop an understanding of technical analysis, design, preparation of construction documents, reports, and cost estimates for water resources, infrastructure, environmental, structural, and energy projects. Focus areas include water resources analysis and design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, ArcGIS mapping, grading and drainage, and culvert and pipe network analysis and design.
