Westwood Professional Services invites a Water Resources Intern to join our team supporting stormwater, drainage, and floodplain projects for public-sector clients. The internship offers hands-on application of hydrology coursework and entry into modeling work with Senior Engineers guiding the process.

You will learn industry standards, assist with hydrologic/hydraulic models, drainage reports, and floodplain studies, and build proficiency in modeling software used in water resources engineering.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate Civil Engineering program or related field.
• Strong communication skills for client or team interactions.
• Willingness to learn in a flexible, field-based environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with development of hydrologic and hydraulic models for drainage and floodplain analyses.
• Support preparation of stormwater management reports and permit materials.
• Review drainage infrastructure and GIS data to inform analyses.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams to ensure project progress.
• Travel to project sites to gather field data and interface with clients.
