Job summary

Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Summer 2027 Water Resources Engineering Intern to work with our engineering team. The role focuses on pipelines, pump stations, and reservoirs, with exposure to transmission hydraulics, water supply planning, and hydrology and hydraulics (H&H).

The intern will assist with modeling, data analysis, reports, and field visits, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to real-world projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year engineering program.
• High school diploma required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Power-BI, SQL, Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Solve engineering problems and perform field investigations.
• Review and document pipeline hydraulic information.
• Participate in hydraulic modeling of transmission systems.
• Assist with Water Supply modeling and development of pipeline operations tools.
• Support with water contract management and field site visits.
• Perform data collection, organization, and GIS analysis.
