Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern to join the Water Services team in Denver. You will work with a team of engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial water resources projects.

The internship offers exposure to hydrologic, hydraulic, water quality, and system modeling, with tasks in data analysis, model updating, and results post-processing. Students will gain experience using HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, CADD, Excel and Access, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor's in Water Resources Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
• Travel: 10% or less

Responsibilities

• Assist with research and data analysis for water resources projects.
• Help update and run models and post-process model results.
• Exposure to HEC-RAS modeling, ArcGIS, CADD, Excel and Access for data display and analysis.
