CDM Smith is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern to join our team in a hands-on capacity on public, federal, and industrial projects. You will work with experienced engineers on hydrologic, hydraulic, water quality, and systems modeling tasks.

As part of a collaborative team, you will conduct research, assist with data collection, and help update models while gaining exposure to HEC‑RAS, ArcGIS, CADD, Excel, and Access.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Water Resources or Civil Engineering.
• Pursuing related engineering field in a 4‑year program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and assist with data collection and analysis.
• Support engineers with updating and running models and post‑processing model results.
• Assist with organizing, analyzing, and managing project data.
• Gain exposure to tools such as HEC‑RAS, ArcGIS, CADD, Excel, and Access.
