Stantec is seeking a Water Resource Engineer to join our Environment Services team in the United States. The role requires a BS or MS in civil or environmental engineering, a Professional Engineer license, and 10+ years of experience with hydraulics and river mechanics.

Qualifications

BS or MS degree in civil or environmental engineering.
10+ years of experience.
Professional Engineer license required; ability to obtain licenses in Massachusetts and other New England states within three months of hiring.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Familiar with civil engineering software.
Experience with hydraulics and river mechanics.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with environmental disciplines within Stantec's Environment Services program.
Perform desktop and field studies for water resource projects.
Support dam removal and culvert replacement initiatives.
Contribute to bridge hydraulics and scour analyses.
Assist in flood risk assessment and coastal resilience work.
Support stream restoration and documentation.
Build hydrologic/hydraulic models.
