CME Associates is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our HMB team in Nashville, TN with opportunities to collaborate on water and wastewater infrastructure projects across multiple states. The role emphasizes design, analysis, and client coordination to deliver safe, compliant public works solutions.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• 5+ years of experience in public infrastructure projects related to Water Resources.
• Experience designing water/wastewater projects is a plus.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design systems to transport drinking water and/or wastewater, including pumping and storage projects.
• Assist senior design staff in water and/or wastewater treatment plant projects.
• Review drainage systems for stormwater or floodplains to safeguard communities.
• Assess need for water/wastewater treatment systems based on population and development demands.
• Analyze water/wastewater treatment technologies and recommend the best method.
• Design and develop specifications for pumping and force main systems.
• Collaborate with contractors and government agencies on project construction.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines and codes.
• Prepare feasibility studies and write technical reports.
• Provide clients with technical support on water resources issues.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and align with marketing on RFPs.
