Job summary

CME Associates seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead design and delivery of infrastructure projects in the Nashville area and beyond. You will coordinate engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulators to ensure quality, schedule, and compliance, guiding multi-discipline teams from concept through construction.

Ideal candidates hold a BS or MS in Civil Engineering and a Licensed Professional Engineer designation, with 10+ years of water resources project experience and strong

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering is required.
• Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer is required.
• 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater/public infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary design and construction teams.
• Strong communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulators to ensure project execution.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and scopes to meet client goals and standards.
• Review technical designs for quality, constructability, and code compliance.
• Lead feasibility studies and infrastructure planning for future needs.
• Evaluate treatment technologies and design approaches with technical experts.
• Develop and manage contracts, procurement, and administration.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and secure permits.
• Prepare reports, cost estimates, risk assessments, and other docs.
• Conduct cost-benefit and life-cycle analyses to inform investments.
• Collaborate with BD teams on proposals, scoping, and RFP responses.
