Job summary

CME Associates is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join the HMB team. The role involves designing systems for drinking water and wastewater, supporting treatment plant projects, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Strong client management, team leadership, and communication are essential as you collaborate with contractors and agencies across multiple locations. Ideal candidates will hold a BS or MS in Civil Engineering and be a licensed Professional Engineer with 5+ years in public

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering required.
• Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer.
• 5+ years of experience in public infrastructure projects related to Water Resources.

Responsibilities

• Design systems to transport drinking water and/or wastewater.
• Assist senior staff in design of treatment plants.
• Review drainage systems and design conveyance for safety.
• Assess needs and conduct feasibility studies for water infrastructure.
• Analyze water/wastewater treatment technologies and select methods.
• Design pumping and force main systems.
• Collaborate with contractors and agencies on projects.
• Ensure compliance with local/state/federal guidelines.
• Prepare written technical reports and cost analyses.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on water resources issues.
• Align with marketing on RFPs and scoping projects.
