Job summary

CME Associates is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join the HMB team. The role involves designing water and wastewater systems, leading projects, and coordinating with agencies to meet regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate holds a BS/MS in civil engineering, a PE license, and 5+ years in public infrastructure projects related to water resources. Hybrid work and growth opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering.
• Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• 5+ years of experience in public infrastructure projects related to water resources.
• Experience designing water treatment plants is a plus.
• Project and/or client management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Design systems to transport drinking water and/or wastewater.
• Assist senior staff in design of water/wastewater treatment plants.
• Review drainage systems for storm water and floodplains.
• Assess need for water/wastewater systems and conduct feasibility studies.
• Analyze water and wastewater treatment technologies and recommend methods.
• Design and develop specs for pumping and force main systems.
• Collaborate with contractors and government agencies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Prepare feasibility studies and technical reports.
• Provide clients with technical support on water resources issues.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for projects.
• Support RFPs, presentations and scoping with marketing teams.
