Job summary

CME Associates is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our HMB team in multiple Midwest locations. The role focuses on designing drinking water and wastewater systems, guiding junior staff, and collaborating with contractors and agencies to deliver safe, compliant public infrastructure.

A PE license and 5+ years in water resources are preferred. Hybrid work options are available along with a competitive benefits package and a sign-on bonus.

• Project and client management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to guide junior staff and collaborate on multi-discipline projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater infrastructure systems and treatment facilities.
• Assist senior staff in project design and planning.
• Review drainage and floodplain systems for safety and compliance.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
• Provide technical support on water resources issues and RFP alignment.
