Job summary

HDR in Florida is seeking an engineer to support water resources projects, applying design engineering and modeling techniques for federal, state, and local municipalities. You will focus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater systems, data collection, assimilation, and presentations, contributing to flood control, river design, levee systems, and wetland restoration.

You will produce design calculations and technical reports and participate in water resources studies with a project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team.

Responsibilities

• Work under project engineers on design engineering and modeling for water resource projects.
• Focus on hydraulics/hydrology modeling, stormwater systems modeling, data collection and presentations.
• Contribute to flood control, river design, levee and dike systems, wetland and lake restoration.
• Produce design calculations, write technical reports, and perform water resources studies.
• Perform other duties as needed.
