Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Resources EIT/Coordinator to support projects focused on flood risk reduction, levees, habitat restoration, and stormwater systems. You will work under project engineers applying design and modeling techniques for federal, state, and local municipalities.

Preferred qualifications include an EIT certificate, familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D, Bentley ORD, HEC-HMS/RAS, and SWMM, plus strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• EIT certificate preferred or Engineer in Training path.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CAD platforms.
• Familiarity with hydraulic modeling software (HEC-HMS/RAS, SWMM).
• Able to work independently and with a project team toward task completion.
• Commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Focus on water resources projects including flood risk reduction, levees, and restoration.
• Assist project engineers in design engineering and modeling for municipalities.
• Concentrate on hydraulics and hydrologic modeling, data collection, and presentations.
• Produce design calculations and draft technical reports.
• Perform other duties as needed.
