Job summary
Spicer Group is seeking a Design Engineer to join our Water Resources / Surface Water Service Line. You will assist with design plans, calculations, and permit applications, leveraging HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS to support studies and project delivery.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering with 0–3 years of experience and a strong willingness to learn.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations under supervision.
- Familiarity with design, modeling, and project documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in prepared design plans, specifications, permit applications, calculations, and cost estimates.
- Support hydrologic and hydraulic calculations using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS for drafting and studies.
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and project teams to deliver quality deliverables.
