McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Civil Staff Engineer (EIT) to join our team. You will support civil design for dams, fish passage facilities, hatcheries, bridges, and water resources projects for federal agencies, municipalities, and utilities.

The role requires collaboration with engineers and project managers to deliver technically precise solutions. The ideal candidate has an EIT certification and up to 5 years in civil design, with strong communication skills and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required.
• 0–5 years of civil design experience; water resources experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect data and gather relevant information and documentation.
• Perform standard computations and analyses.
• Complete basic design tasks.
• Prepare drawings and visual aids.
• Assist with tasks such as preparing permit applications, drawings, and written documents.
• Prepares portions of project documentation.
• Reviews and edits specifications.
• Conducts research and investigations.
• Observes construction activities and field operations.
