McMillen, Inc. seeks a Structural Staff Engineer (EIT) to join our team. You will perform design and development for dams, hydroelectric and other water resource projects across the U.S. and Canada, working under licensed engineers.

The role emphasizes structural analysis, drafting, and coordination with environmental and construction teams. Travel up to 20% is required as projects span multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required.
• FE exam taken or passed; licensure as PE a plus.
• 0–5+ years of structural design experience; water resources experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish project design criteria per relevant codes and standards.
• Review historical project information and prepare design reports.
• Perform structural calculations by hand and with software; develop drawings.
• Edit specifications and assist with Project Manual.
• Support construction phase with submittals, RFI responses, site inspections.
