Job summary

Stantec is seeking an intermediate Civil Engineer with a focus on water resources for our Knoxville-area team. The role involves working independently on smaller projects and as part of larger projects, evaluating and engineering systems, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
Mid-level professional with ability to work independently on smaller projects.
Ability to evaluate, specify and engineer systems or products for projects.
Experience in water resources projects and design tasks preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform complex design tasks including drawings, reports, and presentations.
Lead design efforts and coordinate with internal teams and external consultants.
Prepare site plans, grading plans, and utility plans.
Coordinate project meetings with owner, contractors, and vendors.
Assist in scope, budget, staffing and scheduling of projects.
Prepare and coordinate construction documents and contract documents.
Participate in permitting and constructability reviews.
Ensure quality assurance and quality control on projects.
