Job summary

Stantec seeks a senior engineer and project manager to lead the Knoxville, Tennessee office and grow delivery services in the Knoxville area and across the Southeast. You will supervise a multi-disciplinary team on Water/Civil projects, mentor staff, recruit talent, and collaborate with the Business Center Leadership Team to promote growth and project success.

Responsibilities

• Identify priorities and goals for the Knoxville office with the Leadership Team
• Maintain a strong Knoxville office culture aligned with Southeast Region goals
• Contribute to multiple projects in managerial, technical, or support roles
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and designs for various sized projects
• Support marketing and business development in positioning for opportunities
• Grow internal and external networks to expand Stantec's Knoxville presence
• Promote collaboration across Southeast Region offices and geographies
• Serve as technical lead or project manager on planning, design, and construction tasks
• Mentor and supervise engineers, setting work priorities, budgets, and schedules
• Maintain and enhance client relationships and our reputation with agencies and professionals
• Engage with regulatory bodies and stay current on policy changes
• Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts to build a stronger Knoxville team
