Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a Water Resources Account Manager to promote and sell water well drilling, pump installation and repair services in the Fenton/St. Louis area. You will cultivate client relationships, identify prospects, and forecast market trends to grow regional business.

Responsibilities include converting leads, coordinating with project teams, preparing bids, and using CRM for accurate tracking. Strong communication and 1–3 years in water/wastewater sales are required.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years of sales experience in water/wastewater or related industry.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of water well drilling/water management sales practices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain client relationships to sell water resources services including well drilling, pump installation, and repair.
• Develop prospects from current clients, referrals, leads, and other sources to meet sales goals.
• Prepare reports on prospect pipeline, sales, forecasts, and market trends for regional growth.
• Plan and attend industry trade shows to generate leads for future business.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Operations to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Tailor Layne products and services to meet customer needs aligned with sales goals.
• Prepare bid packages and margins to meet strategic financial plans.
• Use CRM to track and forecast project progress.
