Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a Project Manager to deliver operational excellence on water well drilling, rehab, or pump installation projects. You will forecast revenue and costs, coordinate budgets with estimators and controls, and manage resources to meet schedules while maintaining safety and profitability.

You will build strong relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, and the internal team to drive bid accuracy, project reporting, and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• BS degree preferred.
• 1+ years of project management experience in water well drilling or a construction environment.
• Knowledge of water well drilling or similar industry practices.
• Ability to work in a high-production environment.
• Demonstrated decision-making, leadership, supervisory, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver operational excellence and ensure client satisfaction on water well drilling, well rehab or pump installation and repair projects.
• Forecast project revenue and costs to meet profitability goals.
• Coordinate with estimators, project controls, and business development to manage budgets and schedules.
• Prepare bids, review feasibility, and schedule bid activities with the team.
• Generate purchase orders, gather quotes, manage vendors, and track safety credentials.
• Ensure project reporting and ongoing performance improvement.
• Maintain relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients to build long-term partnerships.
