Joiner Micro Lab is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support water and wastewater analysis, sample preparation, data entry, and report preparation. The role includes organizing reports, preparing bottles and materials, and coordinating shipment of samples to contract laboratories.

The ideal candidate will follow established procedures, maintain accuracy in records, and communicate professionally with clients about sample status.

Qualifications

• Follow established laboratory procedures and safety rules.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and data entry.
• Prepare media, reagents, and sample bottles for analysis.
• Organize reports and support shipment of samples to contract labs.
• Communicate professionally with clients about sample status.

Responsibilities

• Analyze water and wastewater samples.
• Prepare media and reagents for analyses.
• Enter sample data accurately and prepare laboratory reports.
• Process, organize, and file laboratory reports.
• Prepare water sample bottles and collection materials.
• Organize and prepare samples for shipment to contract laboratories.
• Perform required QC procedures and maintain accurate QC records.
• Wash, clean, and properly store laboratory glassware.
