Job summary

Apex Water and Process is seeking a Lab Analyst to perform routine and specialized laboratory tasks in Chemistry and Microbiology labs, supporting water treatment operations through testing environmental samples and quality control.

The role involves using IC, ICP and spectrophotometers, maintaining equipment and records, and ensuring safety standards. A Bachelor's in chemistry-related fields and prior lab experience are required, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biology.
• Experience working in a laboratory setting.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills and laboratory techniques.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and high standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate and document findings.
• Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated team player with integrity and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control tests on Apex products.
• Conduct lab testing on water treatment samples using IC, ICP, spectrophotometers and wet methods.
• Perform corrosion coupon and deposit analyses.
• Assist with reagent inventory management.
• Provide lab support including daily calibration of balances and maintaining records.
• Prepare solutions, maintain lab forms and assist with inventory as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.
