Job summary

Tighe & Bond is seeking a Project Manager 2 to join the One Water Team in our Westwood, MA or Woburn, MA offices. You’ll manage drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the Northeast with a focus on resilience and sustainability, in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

The role requires PE licensure, water/wastewater consulting experience, and strong leadership and communication skills. Master’s is preferred, with opportunities for growth and professional development within

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Considerable consulting engineering experience with increasing responsibility in water/wastewater.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer.
• Demonstrated project management experience and strong technical skills.
• Strong leadership ability and mentoring capabilities.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from concept through construction completion, ensuring technical, regulatory, and funding requirements.
• Serve as primary client contact, guiding funding options, permitting, and execution.
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams, providing technical leadership and oversight.
• Develop construction documents, permits, drawings, specs, cost opinions, and reports with high quality.
• Attend meetings with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to address needs and resolve design challenges.
• Control budgets and schedules to keep projects on track and meet client expectations.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities and contribute to proposals and business development.
