Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the production department, directing daily water treatment and pumping operations to deliver high‑quality water at a reasonable cost. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient use of capital and operating funds.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Management or Technology.
• 5–8 years of experience in a water utility with well and surface facilities.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience.
• Experience in a unionized work environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the production department on daily affairs.
• Achieve customer service outcomes.
• Ensure safety and security regulations are followed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance is met at all times.
• Develop departmental budget plans and manage expenses.
• Complete periodic and annual performance reviews of reports.
• Coach and develop staff to reach potential.
• Ensure OSHA and company safety rules are followed and promote safety culture.
• Collaborate across departments to improve efficiency.
