Job summary

Veolia is seeking a production and operations leader to oversee water treatment facilities, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive safe, efficient daily operations. The role includes budgeting, performance reviews, and staff development to uphold high standards of service.

The position requires a strong background in water treatment, supervisory experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams within a unionized environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Management or Technology or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in a water utility with both well and surface production and treatment facilities.
• Minimum 5 years related supervisory experience.
• Experience in a unionized work environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the production department on daily affairs.
• Achieve customer service outcomes.
• Ensure safety, security, and regulatory regulations are implemented and followed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance is met at all times.
• Develop departmental budget plans and manage expenses for strategic growth.
• Conduct periodic and annual performance reviews of direct reports and coach staff to reach potential.
